Pens
筆記具Pens that glide instead of scratch, in colours worth collecting — for neat notes, big loopy letters and everything between.
Paper
紙Notebooks and letter sets on lovely smooth paper that holds ink beautifully and doesn't bleed through to the other side.
Washi tape
和紙テープPatterned paper tape you tear with your fingers. Stick it, peel it up, stick it somewhere better. Stripes, florals, sparkles.
Origami paper
折り紙Bright, perfectly square sheets that fold crisp and stay folded — plain colours for practising and patterned ones for showing off.
Why Japanese stationery?
Japan treats everyday writing things as though they really matter. Pen tips are made so precisely you can feel the difference. Paper is milled to take ink cleanly. Washi tape is designed to be torn by hand, stuck down, lifted and moved again without tearing the page underneath.
It turns writing, folding and decorating into something you look forward to. That's the whole idea behind PaperPea.
